Shannon completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the University of Kentucky in 2013. She is board certified by PNCB as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner. Before practicing at Baby Health, she was a pediatric ICU and Emergency Department nurse for 10 years. Shannon and her husband are native Lexingtonians and have two daughters. She enjoys the outdoors, is an avid runner, and is a lifelong equestrian.
