Back To School- Back To Germs
Five Simple Strategies To Boost Your Child’s Immune System
As kids head back into the classroom, they share more than just stories about summer- they’re also sharing germs! The good news is, there are simple, natural ways, to help support your child’s immune system so they can stay healthy, energized, and ready to learn!
Here are 5 ways to give your child a strong start to this school year:
- Prioritize Sleep
Sleep is your child’s immune system superpower. School-aged kids need about 9-11 hours of sleep per night!! When your child sleeps they are building their immune system, storing all of their memories from the day, cleansing their emotions, and growing!
Try creating a calming bedtime routine-think warm baths (Epsom salts are a great addition) reading together, and no screens for an hour before bed. Start bedtime earlier than you think you need to in order to maximize the time your child is asleep.
- Fill Their Plate With Whole Foods
What your child eats directly impacts their immunity.
